Norrbottens län, Environmental officer

This position is located in the CAB's environmental protection unit in which we work, including review and oversight of hazardous activities and water activities. We also work with inventory, investigation and remediation of contaminated sites.

Tasks
Processing of cases of water activities which include:
• consultation before the scheduled permit water activities
• advice in connection with permit applications in environmental court
• handling of complaints of water activities
• monitoring of water activities.

We are looking for someone who has
• a relevant scientific / technical education with a focus on environmental issues
• experience of working with case management in the Environmental area
• an ability to express yourself orally and in writing
• outreach and cooperative orientation, when the work involves contacts with various actors in the environment
• Driving license.

There is an additional benefit if you have
• knowledge of hydraulic engineering, hydrology, limnology and / or geotechnical
• experience in similar work
• Knowledge of the Environmental Code
• good computer skills, including within GIS.
